Orlando Reyes (December 22, 1977 - January 4, 2023)
Orlando Reyes, 45 years old, passed away on January 4 ,2023 in Chicago, IL. Orlando was born on December 22, 1977 in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by father, Rodolfo Sr. Reyes and mother Teresa Reyes. Orlando is survived by his sister Patricia Reyes, brother Rodolfo Jr., Reyes, nephew Benicio, niece Ruby, and many family and friends.
Orlando grew up in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood where he continued to reside. After graduating from De Lasalle High School, he continued his education at DePaul University. While studying at DePaul, Orlando was a member of the Midwest Association of Hispanic Accountants (M.A.H.A.), the DePaul Alliance for Latino Empowerment (D.A.L.E.), and a proud and Noble brother of Alpha Psi Lambda Fraternity – “El Despistado” #26. Orlando served in many capacities as a member of Alpha Psi Lambda and continued to be an active participant as an alumnus. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2001 and currently worked as a financial consultant. Orlando also took time to work as a teacher in his community.
Over the years he generously donated his time to host financial awareness workshops and financial planning. Orlando served on many volunteer committees, including fundraising for St. Jude’s Children's Hospital, Chicago Food banks, and Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Chicago. If you had the honor of knowing Orlando, you knew you always had a friend and a brother.
Orlando will be greatly missed, and will be remembered as a kind, ambitious, and humble man.

Orlando Reyes, de 45 años, falleció el 4 de enero de 2023 en Chicago, IL. Orlando nació el 22 de diciembre de 1977 en Chicago, IL. Le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Rodolfo Sr. Reyes y su madre Teresa Reyes. A Orlando le sobreviven su hermana Patricia Reyes, hermano Rodolfo Jr. Reyes, sobrino Benicio, sobrina Ruby, y mucha familia y amigos.
Orlando creció en el barrio de Pilsen de Chicago, donde continuó residiendo. Después de graduarse de la escuela secundaria De Lasalle, continuó su educación en la Universidad DePaul. Mientras estudiaba en DePaul, Orlando fue miembro de Midwest Association of Hispanic Accountants (M.A.H.A.), de DePaul Alliance for Latino Empowerment (D.A.L.E.) y un hermano orgulloso y noble de la fraternidad Alpha Psi Lambda - “El Despistado” #26. Orlando se desempeñó en muchas capacidades como miembro de Alpha Psi Lambda y continuó siendo un participante activo como ex alumno. Obtuvo una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Comercio en 2001 y actualmente trabaja como consultor financiero.
A lo largo de los años, donó generosamente su tiempo para organizar talleres de concientización financiera y planificación financiera.
Se extrañará mucho a Orlando y se le recordará como un hombre amable, ambicioso y humilde.
En nombre de la familia, todas las donaciones monetarias se aceptan con mucha gratitud y se utilizarán directamente para cubrir los gastos del funeral.


Visitation Tuesday from 3 PM to 8 PM at the Dalcamo Funeral Home 470 West 26th Street. Funeral Wednesday 9:15 AM from the Funeral hHme to Our Lady of the Holy Family (Notre Dame de Chicago) Church for Mass at 10 AM. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
