Dalcamo Funeral Home remains committed to our community and families we serve during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As of March 18, 2020, we will continue to allow families to participate in the rituals that are most important to them. The CDC and the Federal Government have recommended that services do not exceed 10 immediate family members at any one time in the building for at least the next 8 weeks. We have also been advised by several cemeteries that burial services will be limited to 10 immediate family members (spouse, children, parents, siblings, and grandchildren). We recommend that families continue to practice social distancing, refrain from expressions of sympathy (shaking hands, hugging and kissing). If you cough or sneeze please use a tissue and immediately wash your hands. We ask that if you have felt sick in the past few days, please remain at home. The funeral home, will assist with arrangements via, phone, email, and fax. We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and update our families. Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time.
Dalcamo Funeral Home has been family owned and operated since it was founded in 1939 by Matthew F. Dalcamo Sr. The funeral home started as a single chapel parlor serving the local Bridgeport community. The funeral home has now grown to a two chapel parlor to better serve our families.
Structured in family tradition, Dalcamo Funeral Home has become a staple in the Chicago and suburban communities. Today our funeral home is run by second generation Funeral Director Bernie Dalcamo Sr. and his sons, third generation Funeral Directors: Bernie Dalcamo Jr and Philip L Dalcamo.
We take pride in serving your family and take care of your needs as if you were part of our family. As always, we will continue to grow to better serve your family and do our best to ensure our service meets and exceeds your expectations.
