Mary Ann Mitchell, a loving, kind, and funny woman, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023, in her beloved city of Chicago, IL. Born on May 27, 1953, in Chicago, Mary Ann was the devoted daughter of the late Paul and the late Stella Mitchel

Mary Ann's love for animals was evident from a young age. She was known for her gentle spirit and her ability to connect with animals of all kinds.

In addition to her love for animals, Mary Ann was also passionate about caring for the elderly. She took great pride in assisting her parents and elderly neighbors, ensuring they were comfortable and well-taken care of. Her kindness and generosity were felt by all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed in the community.

Mary Ann's sense of humor was one of her most endearing qualities. She had a natural ability to make people laugh and could always be counted on to bring joy to any situation. Her laughter was infectious, and she had a gift for finding humor in even the most challenging moments. Friends and family will remember Mary Ann for her light-hearted nature and the happiness she brought to those around her.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving sister Paulette and many cousins, who will cherish the memories of her warm heart, caring spirit, and unforgettable sense of humor. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and laughter that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and Friends will meet at St. Casimir Cemetery on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 10 AM for a graveside funeral service.
