Violet  "Vi" Savocchia; Veteran U.S. Army WWII; beloved daughter of the late Donato and late Irene Savocchia; loving sister of the late Ancy (late Lucille) Savocchia; cherished aunt of Daniel (Mary) Savocchia and Kathleen (late Kenneth) Murrow; dear great-aunt of Rebecca and Thomas Murrow. Upon graduating from Nursing School Vi joined the Army Nurse Corp in WWII stationed in the South Pacific. After returning home she began a 30 year career at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital (now Rush) in Chicago. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Private Inurnment Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
