It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sek Jum "John" Lee at the age of 72. He passed away peacefully in Chicago, IL on April 27th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Kar Shu Lee and So Kuen Mak Lee; beloved husband of Yin Kam Ip Lee; devoted father of Jerome (Annie Moy) Lee, Janina Lee, and Jordan Lee; proud grandfather to Chloe, Isla, and Caila; cherished eldest brother of Shek Lee, Amy (Russell) Bertolino, Jean (Joseph) Partenheimer, Herman (Myrna) Lee, Joan (Hubert) Chow, and Kim (Steve) Ko; fond uncle to Jessica, Jake, Marcus, Matthew, Justice, Tyler, Cody, Mikayla, and Allyson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Friday, May 9th from 9:00 am to 9:45 am at Dalcamo Funeral Home, 470 West 26th Street., Chicago, IL 60616. Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 9th, at 9:45am at Dalcamo Funeral Home. Cremation Oak Ridge Cemetery
