Manuel Hugo Moreno, 78, of Chicago, IL, passed away on November 24, 2023. He was a strong and loving man, known for his hard work and dedication to his family. Manuel's life was defined by his selflessness and willingness to help others, leaving a lasting impact on the lives he touched. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ignacia, his daughter Sara (Todd) Kane, his son Manuel (Michelle) Moreno Jr, and his son Arturo (Elsa) Moreno. Proud grandfather to Mason, Morgan, Victor, Isabel, Vincent, and Olivia. A memorial mass will be held to honor Manuel's life on December 16th at 9:00am at Our Lady of the Holy Family Catholic Church at 1334 W Flournoy St, Chicago, IL. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering and celebrating his life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org.
