Holmes Yee (1939-2024)

Holmes Yee, 85, of Oak Park, IL, passed away peacefully in Chicago, IL on August 23, 2024.

He was born in Manila, Philippines in 1939 to father, Hi Caiji, and mother, Ming Chan.  He attended Sun Yet Sen High School before studying electrical engineering at Far Eastern University in the Philippines, graduating in 1969.  Holmes subsequently moved to the United States to work in the photocopier industry and opened his own business, First Copy Systems, in Oak Park, IL.

Holmes was preceded in death by his brothers, Willis Yee, Hoover Yee, Homer Yee, Holman Yee, Manuel Yee Hicaiji, and is survived by his brother, Carlos Yee Hicaiji, wife, Lily Yee, and children, Justin Yee, and Jessica Yee.

Visitation Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Dalcamo Funeral Home, 470 W. 26th Street, Chicago. Funeral Service 12 PM. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery
