Haven Koon Moy, 86

Haven Moy passed away on August 28, 2022.

Haven was born on August 12, 1936 in China. He came to America at the age of 18 and settled down in West Chicago, Illinois and worked in a laundromat.  He met Helen Tse in China and they were married on January 2, 1957.

Haven worked many years at the Nestle Chocolate & Confections - a Division of Nestle Foods Company in Franklin Park, Illinois.  When the factory automated, Haven operated the computers.

Haven is survived by Helen, his wife of 65 years, his daughters Jane Moy, Jennifer Moy Perthel (Christopher) and Sharon Moy, his grandsons ZM and Wesley Moy, and his granddaughter Christina Perthel.  He was preceded in death by his son Daniel Moy (Liying).

Visitation will be on Friday, September 2, from 4 pm to 8 pm and on Saturday, September 3, from 9 am to 11 am at the Dalcamo Funeral Home, 470 W. 26th Street, Chicago, IL 60616.  The funeral will be at 11 am. Interment is at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Stickney, Illinois.
