A proud veteran, Guadalupe was awarded the combat infantry badge along with the Korean Service Medal, adorned with two bronze service stars, recognizing his bravery and commitment during his time in the military.
Guadalupe was known for his unwavering spirit and devotion to family, friends, and community. Throughout his life, he exemplified qualities of resilience and kindness, making an indelible impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will be remembered by many as one marked by his heartfelt connections and contributions to society.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and memory during a memorial service at Dalcamo Funeral Home, located at 470 W 26th St, Chicago, IL 60616, on January 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer service will follow that evening, beginning at 6:30 PM, providing an opportunity for loved ones to come together in remembrance and reflection.
His inurnment will take place on January 24, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Family and friends are asked to meet at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
