Beloved husband of Maria nee Reyes; loving father of Ernesto Israel, Alexandra Marie, Benjamin Daniel (Maria Reyna) and Carolyn Gloria (the late Rudy Ibariaz) Vela; cherished grandfather of Melissa Marie Vela (Alexander Delgado), Benjamin Manuel (Laura) Vela and Andres J. Ibariaz; adored great-grandfather of Aiden Ares Ibariaz and Jerónimo Vela.
Visitation Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 3 PM to 8 PM at the Dalcamo Funeral Home, 470 West 26th Street. Funeral Friday, 9:15 AM from the Funeral Home to St. Procopius Catholich Church for Mass at 10 AM. Interment Fairview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donation to Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
