Eleanore J. Bilandic was born March 26, 1922 and died May 18, 2021. Her parents were Croatian immigrants, Minnie & Mate Bilandic. Her late Uncle, Rev. Bonaventure Bilandic, was a Croatian Franciscan Friar. Siblings are the late Honorable Michael A. Bilandic (Heather, Michael), The late Steve J. Bilandic, and Nicholas A. Bilandic (Janet).  Eleanore attended St. Jerome Croatian Grade School and Visitation High School, and then graduated from DePaul University, received a Bachelor then Master in Education Degree and became a career teacher in the Chicago Public School System. She was Assistant Principal and Librarian at Holden School in Chicago. She was active in local and church affairs.  Catholic burial services are private.
