In Loving Memory of Diana Rose (D.D) Kroulaidis, née Dybala
March 7, 1943 – April 9, 2026
It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Diana Rose (D.D) Kroulaidis, née Dybala, of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, formerly of Chicago, Illinois on April 9, 2026. D.D was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved friend who brought warmth, kindness, and laughter to all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John (Jim “Krow”) Kroulaidis; (Retired CFD) her children, Jacquelyn Kroulaidis, Janeen (the late Darryl) Paulauskis, John Jr., and Joseph (Lorelei) Kroulaidis; and her treasured and adored grandson, Justin A. Kroulaidis Paulauskis. He held a very special place in her heart. And she cherished every moment spent with him, creating memories filled with love, joy and some great debates.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Antoinette Dybala, and her brother, Robert (Bob) Dybala (Maureen). She was a beloved aunt to many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
She deeply cherished the special bond she shared with “her girlfriends”, whose forever friendship meant so much to her throughout her life.
D.D enjoyed scrapbooking, researching family lineage and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Florida Everblades fan.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dalcamo Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held Monday, April 20, at Nativity of Our Lord Church, at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow immediately at St. Casimir Cemetery.
D.D will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Her love and legacy will remain in our hearts always
