Alva "Al" E. Besst Jr.

Lifelong Bridgeport resident; devoted son of the late Alva E. Besst Sr. and Frances Besst; dear brother of the late Joyce (the late William) O'Dette and the late Jean Besst; fond uncle of the late Robert Besst and Linda O'Dette. Al was an elder member of First Lutheran Church of the Trinity, where he served on the church council, volunteered at God's Closet and was a worship assistant. Visitation Friday February 26, 2021 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Dalcamo Funeral Home 470 West 26th Street. Family and friends are asked to meet at First Lutheran Church of the Trinity on Saturday, February 27, 2021 for visitation from 9 am until start of funeral service at 10 am. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 pandemic face coverings are to be worn at all times within the Funeral Home and Church. 50 people will be allowed in the funeral home at once. We ask that you keep your visit brief to allow all the opportunity to pay their respects. No food or drink allowed in the Funeral Home at this time.
